Spacious cottage and great resort!
We were 8 women that stayed in this wonderful cottage over the May long weekend as a relaxing getaway from the Vancouver city life. Although far from the downtown of Kelowna, the resort provides everything you need from a convenience store, to a pool, hot tub and much more! This area was just a 1 minute walk (if not less) from the cottage its self. We actually walked down to the lake, but I would presume it’d be about a 5 minute walk down or less.
The cottage was very neat and spacious, provided most of the utensils we required for cooking, although I would double check what will be provided so you come prepared. The bedding, and bathrooms were clean which was really great.
The view from the front windows were spectacular as they overlooked the lake, and the area is very peaceful.
Michelle and Maurice were really great to coordinate with!

Great Vacation Spot
In September my wife and I visited the La Casa Resort in BC between Vernon and Kelowna. What a great time to go, the weather was amazing and it was quiet. This beautiful resort is partially on flat ground where the pool, mini golf, store and restaurant are. The units are build into the side of a mountain so unbelievable views of the lake and mountains. Our unit had a California Malibu feel to it and the rest of them are architecturally designed to have their individual style. The residence had a two car garage, a great room, kitchen with large eating area, main floor master bedroom and full bathroom. To top it off it has an enormous deck overlooking the resort and the lake. Is comes with lots of outdoor furniture and a barbeque.
The upstairs had a huge master bedroom with full bathroom.. The unit could easily sleep six adults. The walk to the lake is all down hill and it had lounging chairs, deck and raft. The walk back to the unit is great exercise. The entire premise is protected with a gate system with a key required to open the gate to get into the resort, this is reassuring.
If you want to travel around, your half way to Vernon and Kelowna and both our unique cities with excellent restaurants and shops. I would recommend this resort to singles or families, both would find this to be a great spot.

Wonderful Family Getaway
We have stayed here 3 times, and enjoyed each visit. The location is great- super close to the pool/park/restaurant/store. There is a beautiful view of the lake, which can be enjoyed from the large deck or the dining room table.
Bear Creek Provincial Park is a 20-25 minute drive, and a great place to spend the day with the whole family.
Having a washer and dryer in the home makes it easier for longer stays. Everything was clean and well maintained. Almost all the supplies provided lasted the week (family of 6).
Overall, we love coming here, and it’s a family favourite with the kids.
